Default Usain Bolt.. ANOTHER World Record!!

So the fastest man on the planet became even faster tonight!!

Usain Bolt beat his world record - that he got at the Olympics - at tonight's World Championship in Berlin, Germany.. What an amazing talent

Never would've thought it was humanly possible to register a 9.58 in the 100 meter until I saw the youtube video.

This guy is a specimen. He is doing now what Michael Johnson did about 10+ years ago, and what Carl Lewis did a generation or two before him. It seems like the cycle for these unbelievable track athletes (specifically sprinters and short/middle distance) to come along is about every 10 years or so, and when they do they turn track and field on its head.

And Donovan Bailey!

I've met him a few times as he lives here in town. Really humble guy and always smiling. A class act!

As I was watching the build up they kept referring to his times in the heats which were good but not amazing (by his potential standards) but I was kind of anticipating something special in the final........and he delivered!

No way, really?? That's cool. Wonder if he has ever been to Old Trafford?? Fergie would probably try to sign him and play him on the wing to make up for losing the pace of Ronaldo!

I called it, I knew he would break it tonight. All through the prelims he was just jogging and goofing around. This is the time he would have posted at the olympics had he not jogged the last 20m and chest pounded himself before finishing. This guy in unreal, no telling how fast he is gonna run. He is only 23! Tyson Gay ran waaaaay better than I thought he would and it still wasn't even close to enough and he ran the 3rd fastest time ever and set an American record!

He is a freak. An absolute freak. He is the single best thing to happen to Summer Olympic hype in a long time. I would throw Michael Phelps in there also, but with the pot thing and now driving with an expired license, doesn't make him "poster boy material". Let's just hope that Bolt is clean, which I believe he is. But you never know anymore do ya?

Expired license is no big deal. The pot thing is funny because imagine how fast Phelps would be if he didn't smoke at all!

I'm guessing Michael Phelps' "pot problem" really isn't a problem at all; i.e. he's probably only done it a handful of times — not enough to make a difference in his performance.

An expired license makes him a bad guy? Hell, in college I drove on expired plates for 6 months until a cop noticed and pulled me over. I had NO CLUE- it just had slipped my mind in the middle of a hectic school year.

People make mistakes- it's not like he decided to break into someone's home or something.

The guy will break 9.5 in within a yr.

I have it on my PVR and watched the race quite a few times. Even at 9.58, you could still see him looking around to see if anyone in the field is around, or to taunt or whatever, with a few strides left.

The guy still hasn't run an entire legs/arms pumping, focused on the finish line race.

He's sick!

I noticed, this, too...and I'm sure many other also noticed. He can definitely run a faster time.

I believe Usain Bolt is faster than AT&T's Bill Kurtis.
