They will get over it I'll trying to get some better pictures here this week. I have absolutly no idea what I have gotten my self into

Great choice, I just got my Mitsubishi 73' 1080p DLP from CompUsa for 1,899, Bummer your in an appt. can only crank it up so much. I think you have contracted the Audiophile sickness, good luck with your system and watch your wallet it will open up by itself.

Do you know if the 120hz actually does the job for 5:5 pulldown? Thanks!

60". i going to guess that you will get tierd of that. my 65" is now to small.
i am looking at a panasonic 3000 projector, at about 95" anamorphic.

but i was AMAZED when i got my 65". just fabulous.
the projector should blow me away

your neighbors. go talk to em. pick a time that would be less likely to bother them. then ask them if you can crank it up at that time. they come away feeling respected, AND know what to expect = when it will stop. so far, this has worked for me.

I'm trying to decide if I want to get the 73" or the new 82". There is about a 2K price difference so I may go with the 73".

that was my problem. i wanted the 73", BAD. but it was $1000 more at the time.
and i had no idea i would get into it like i did. so i settled.
i advise you to look at projectors. the larger image size has a vast impact on the HT experience. probably more so than any other upgrade. that is, if you get/setup good stuff.

I had been looking into projectors but I decided to go with just a TV instead because it requires less of a commitment for installation. I don't want to go through the trouble of mounting a projector and screen just to have end up moving a year down the road or anything like that. But you never know by the time I get the money to get something bigger I may decide to go ahead with the projector.

good choices i'll b getting another DLP around black friday or close to xmas as i love these tv's. i have all samsung tv's but since they STOPPED making them i'll go with Mitsu. i only need one so i was looking at the 65" for my basement since my basement tv moved to my living room. my wife loves it its a 56".

i was looking into front projectors but after doing a search the bulbs last half as my DLP's like 1500 hrs and not much after that. i know, i know u can't beat the picture. and yes, i've seen them in action and WOW plus, i do have the sound for a front projection but i'll stick with tv's for now....

oh, yeah, it will b the Diamond series all the reviews i've read recommended the Diamonds ONLY!!
