Hi,

I got an email saying if I tried the 30 day Music Unlimited service they would put $5 in my PSN wallet.

I signed up... 5 minutes was enough... what a crap service.

However, the $5 hasn't shown up.... hopefully it shows up soon because you can cancel the Music Unlimited thing before the 30 days is over and for me the service is useless.

I got the same email a couple days ago also, signed up, and am just waiting for the $5. You can go ahead and cancel the automatic renewal just as you would with PS+ even through the MU app and you'll still be able to use the service (though in your case, you won't be). I assume we'll be getting it after the 19th because that's the deadline to sign up.

As for the service, I find it kind of cool. I've never tried searching and listening to music I never listen to so it was sort of fun to just listen to stuff I normally don't listen to. Am I going to keep the service? No lol.

I didn't get an email, but I guess that's because I'm already signed up. Music Unlimited is a fantastic service. I've had it since back when it was called Qriocity, which I still call it. Lots of great music on there. Plus, there's also a mobile app, which has taken the place of my iPod since that piece of junk broke. I renewed my membership back when they had it $45 for a whole year for PS+. Factors out to $3.75 a month.

I was fine to try it since they were going to pay me but then I look and there's just way too much of the stuff I like that's missing.

It's different for me anyways because I have about 300 CDs I like (all on a ipod classic in lossless form.) And, I don't have much patience for finding new stuff I would like.

I tried for example listening to the new Brittany record... yuk, that didn't' work.

It must just suit other people better.

I read in the email fine print that we should get it on or before the 24th. But, like I said, you can cancel the automatic subscription now and not have to worry about it...

Sort of wish the Music Unlimited hadn't been such a bust... but hey, at least now I know I don't want it....

I also didn't get an email. I like the Mu service and have a use for it. Might try it out and hope for the best. Credit or not, good service.
