Someone also mentioned that on Twitter they said they will be selling it at a crazy low price compared to other retails.

I would be all over this but i have the Collector's Edition preordered from EB, was thinking of switching it to something else but the CE looks awesome and wouldn't pass up on it.

Yea, other stores like Best Buy, Future Shop and EB are selling the regular for $69.99 and the CE for $99.99.

I can see FS/BB/EB matching this which is what they did when Infamous dropped to 30. If FS/BB/EB doesn't match it, you can PM it and get like 3 dollars off.

I'm going to have to decide whether or not to cancel my preorder at bestbuy.ca (used the digital dollars from the Dollhouse preorder price error to knock 5 bucks off the price, bringing it to $54.99). This looks like an awesome deal, but if it is all gone by the time I can get to walmart, I'll be stuck with a $68+ price elsewhere

you should be able to price match it in-store at futureshop or bestbuy.

for things like this, i don't think many people outside of sites like this one, redflagdeals and cheap ass gamer will know about it. Also, I'm sure walmart will have enough copies if you go the day of, or the day after.

lol so wrong, personally I found out about this a few days ago when it was posted over on the official Playstation Forums, by that forum alone a ton of people will be all over this, furthermore the Canadian Xbox 360 Marketplace has been advertising this deal right on the dashboard for a week now so EVERYONE with a 360 in Canada knows about this deal, anyway im gonna be at my local store at 7am to pick it up, I just know there will be hoarders who try to buy as many copies as they can, this is a Limited Time deal after all, exactly how limited nobody knows but it could be a 1 day thing

As far as price match goes you might be able to get that done, the reason why im skeptical is that FS/BB lowest price guarantee policy states that it doesn't apply to limited time offers, but they might not notice or care so who knows give it a try

Was just at Futureshop for my interview and I asked if they would honor the price match and the GM who was interviewing me said they would. I asked him after my interview of course

actually its posted ON the xbox 360 when you power it up on the NXE 360 network so pretty much everyone knows about it, not like the 150$ **** up by futureshop lol
