Sin City 2 Disc Collector's Edition

My cousin recently went to Canada (Edmonton to be exact) and he returned with a 2 Disc Collector's Edition of Sin City. I'm certain it's the exact same thing as the US release, however his came with different cover art and a lenticular slipcover. The art was of just Alba and Murphy, but he said there were a few different ones (Owen/Del Toro and Rourke/Wood). I've searched this site and a few others and haven't found it. Has anyone ever come across this version. (I'll try to get a pic up)

Alliance has two releases...

Movie-only theatrical release.

New special edition release that is the same as the US special edition.

So if you got the Canadian two disc set then you have the same release as the US just with different art.

I'm not sure if this has to do with this but I went to Canada and went to this store called HMV and they had a lenticualar slipcover for the first Punisher & several other movies. It was also 2 disc but the second disc was just a DVD copy.

I live in Canada and every other release seems to have these covers over here. And yes i have the Sin City one.

Actually... the US & Canadian SE releases are different. The US 2 disc version has the director's version/chronological version of Sin City as an option... the Canadian 2 disc doesn't have that option available.

As for the BD with lenticular covers, Alliance re-issued a number of titles in Canada with new art and a bonus DVD copy of the movie.
