Default Should I get this HDMI Cable ??

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_703HDMI...3-2-meter.html

Don't worry I'm just kidding. My custom installer used all Audioquest cables in my HT, but not these. I had no idea that there were cables out there that were this outraegous. The last 6 footers I bought from monoprice were $5.99 and worked fine.

I guess there are some folks out there that want the best and will actually buy cables that cost $63.00 a foot

Audioquest and Crutchfield are obviously big, evil corporations trying to take advantage of the common man and should be boycotted at all costs.

Hahaha...j/k Just wanted to see what it would be like to freak out about this the way people freak out about Monster Cable and Best Buy...and these are way more pricey than even the MC cables...

Nice looking cables.

Actually, the cable costs $15, but it's $360 to ship.

I actually like Monster Cable's ends better...these just look like the same molded rubber as the $7 monoprice cables.

Almost $380 for a 26 gauge cable???

Aren't the Monoprice ones at least 22 gauge?

for 6ft monoprice, you only need the 28 guage. Longer runs may need the 24g or 22g.

But...the Audio Quest price is outrageous. Sucker born every minute.

Hey, in a world of Pear Anjou cables anything is possible. It doesn't surprise me a bit. Some guys will spend hundreds of dollars on a POWER CABLE and swear by its performance.

Guys buying those cables have $100K+ systems in which there likely is a legitimate benefit.

Remember that it comes with a "textile braided jacket".

That alone is worth the price tag!

I'd pay that much for a cable if I get to go on a quest in the Artic with your Husky

just get one of the thousands of "under a buck" cables from Amazon. Nothing wrong with them and they do the job just as well as these hundred-dollar-plus ones.

I wish I could have a Husky where I live but I live in good ole hot/humid Georgia and I know the dog would suffer during the summer months

I will still probably get one sooner or later though

When loyal tech savvy people see this, it makes them wonder. You know what to do when you see a salesman try to sell a overpriced cable to a not-so-tech-savvy customer
