Default Harmony One issues...

I have a Harmony One remote, I set it up for all of my devices and it worked fine...at first. Now, If I last watched TV, and now want to play something on Xbox, the remote will cut everything on fine, but it wont always (in fact hardly ever) change the input on the TV to the correct thing. This happens from both starting the TV from an off state as well as switching between devices.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way I can remedy it?

Thanks!

Might just have to add a pause before it sends the signal to change the input on the tv. If the order is "TV on", "TV input (x)", sometimes it won't catch the second command right away. If you have the receiver turn on for that command also, I would recommend having TV turn on first, then Xbox, receiver, then have it change input on the TV. There's different ways to do it, but just play around with the order of commands, or add a pause before the input change.

Thanks for the tips. I will give that a try. Do you know off hand where the pause settings are? I looked the other night for a minute and could not find them.

If you go to Settings for the action you want to change, go to "Review the settings for this Activity", then "Yes, but I want to add more control of options and devices for this Activity", then next until you get to the list where you can add/remove actions. When you add an action, it will give you the option to add an IR delay for 2,5, or 10 seconds.

I haven't tried it like this, but if you have at least a 2 second delay before the command to change input, it should work.

Yes...us Samsung HDTV owners all have this issue at first. Try adding some delay as TenaciousDHo has suggested. You should be fine after that.
