Warner Bros Justice League Dark (2017)

Confirmed to be the next release in the DCAU series. A preview will be included on the Killing Joke BD.

Justice League Dark is a series of more edgy Justice League comics that include a totally different team than what we know. The current lineup consists of Constantine, Zatanna, The Changing Man, Shade and several others.

Still no link. All WB has said is that the Killing Joke will feature a preview for the next DCAU feature. Nothing about what that feature actually is.

I thought the next one was going to be in the shared universe they created? Have they abandoned that series or is this another stand alone

Since Justice League Dark was part of The New 52, I would imagine it would be part of the shared universe.

This must be a very new comic. I've never heard of it before. I'm familiar with a few of the characters, but need to read up on this.
Sounds quite interesting! I was a fan of the short lived Constantine show, and was happy to see the character appear on Arrow.

Justice League Dark debuted in 2011 and ran until last year (40 regular issues, a 0 issue, a Futures End one-shot, and two annuals) .

There's also been talk of a live-action Justice League Dark movie as well.

I really think it was too early to create this thread. We don't know for sure that's the next title beyond the snippet from the rating site, haven't even gotten actual confirmation, and we don't know for sure that that title means it's a direct adaptation of the comic. It could mean many things but in no way a sure bet.

Thank you for the info! I did read the wiki shortly after I posted. Sounds like a really cool comic storyline. Maybe we will hear more about this at SDCC next month?

I suspect so. The Killing Joke is supposed to premiere at SDCC this year, they'll probably talk some about this too, maybe tease the audience with a clip.

Ah SDCC...so much great teasing, it's borderline criminal...but in a good way!
Well assuming Dark does happen, I think it's safe to say that the DCU line is a pretty big hit for WB. We are, routinely, getting: a wide release, wide figure release, steelbook(Target), figure w/mini novel(BB), large graphic novel.
All we need are some sweet Neo Cases and this would be the ultimate dream collection for me.

I posted about this yesterday's in the Killing Joke thread, but felt it was a bit too presumptuous to make a thread alresdy. Based on past examples, I know the OP doesnt have this concern though . It'll no doubt be one of the next, if not the next, so not a big deal.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote an article about the possible Justice League Dark animated movie. The article is pretty much a rehash of what is already known.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hea...imation-900425

Wes Gleason, the casting and voice director for Batman: Bad Blood and Justice League vs Teen Titans, retweeted THR story and responded with "We'll see" to a tweet from someone hoping for Matt Ryan to reprise his role as Constantine.

Shade.

Why is this in the Wish List section? It has now been reported everywhere.

Really hope they use the animation they have been using for the JL movies. I really want Swamp-Thing included as well.
