That's a lot of megapixels! Even for a DSLR!

I'd be happy with just a 50D or a D300.

Same MP as my A900. It is actually a lower pixel density than my A700 was at 12.2MP on an APS-C sensor.

Price is good, next I'd like to see real world reviews. I got a friend who is seriously considering Sony's photo product line.

Reviewers have all said it matches the A900's image quality. There are loads of reviews on the A900. What does he want to know? I have the A900 and several of the nicer lenses.

Yup it's considerably lower than what Canon and Nikon has. I have a 5D myself. Kinda welcome change to see Sony priced lower than the competition for once.
