Default Blu/PS3 Video Resume

Why do 95% of blus (at least on my ps3) not have automatic resume? Every dvd i ever play resumes (up to 6 at a time) and I know my Dave Matthews blu resumes, but pretty much every other blu disc i have to go thru previews and intros, what gives?!

Because of BD-Java which have a bookmark feature not a automatic resume, but about 80% of Blu-ray movies have automatic resume by doing it the same way as dvd.

Thanks- its seems like a little sacrifice for upgrading technology... but at least its not as bad as the Toshiba HD-DVD player i got cheap at best buy early in the war, new HD technology at the time, but it took a minute to turn on..

I looked at your list and it's mostly Sony, Fox, and WB titles and yeah those are like some of the main companies who like to use BD-Java the most. I do think that more and more releases are going to use the BD-Java but there are still plenty of companies who don't do that but it might get useful to learn how to use the bookmark feature so that you can save where you left off manually and not have to deal with having to search for it but be best to have one of those BD-Remotes for your PS3.
