Hi again I have a couple of questions related to Home Theather Constrution to not make a bunch of threads to cluter up the forum I will ask the questions all in one thread and will edit each section when I have a new question.
Note:Great News I will probrobly be able to post the Pictures of my room on August 31-September 5 I will post them sooner if I can,if you want to know why I haven't posted them yet it's because we are remodelling another room in the house and every thing is now temporally in the living room so you won't get a clear picture of the living room now I hope you all understand. Here are the questions Alright here is the situation the room I will be placing my Home Theather Gear in the living room but the problem is that room only has a few wall outlets. I will try to place all the wires inside the walls if possible would you recommend this if I do this do I need to run backup wires just in case for all the wires or only some like the audio and video cables? the walls in the living room are all interior dry wall and will be plastered after the Home Theather is installed. The wires will be run through the roof into the walls and installed in there apprpriate spots. Here are a couple of notes to keep in mind while answering the questions 1.The family member bought me the cables,I know they are Monster Brand but they got them at a very good price plus I heard they are overpriced but there quality is also good and I would feel bad changing what the family member already bought. 2.The Family Member paid for an installation plan also so Geek Squad will do the installation all I have to do is tweak the settings of the receiver to my liking afterward, that was nice of them. As you guys or go recommending items I will put them in a list and after I will post the list. In the thread,I already have some things that I think I need to buy below. 1.Cable Wall Plate (1) 2.Triple Phone Jack Wall Plate (1) 3.Ethernet Jacks (1-2) Is it better to run them directly to the main switch or have a second switch in the living room? The items with a question marks means I cannot find that particular wall outlet in my hardware store can you gus post the links for the items so I can find them online if they exist. Wireing 1.What Wires or Wall outlets should I put into the wall where the TV will be mounted? 2.Apprently there is wall outlets for everything including HDMI but If I put the video cables inside the walls and then use a shorter cable from the wall outlets to the receiver will that degrade the audio or video quality? 3.If one of the wires including the backup which is unlikely goes bad how hard will it be to replace them myself? 4.Is it good to besides having all the outlets on a seprate breaker to have a power conditioner, battery backup and an outlet strip or is that overdoing it a bit I want to do the multizone stuff all at the same time as my living room ,but for the multizone cables I will be using the Internet because I want to try to setup a Wired/Wireless Networks, and audio and Video Multizone in every room of the house. If possible, Here are some questions relating to multizone below,I have read some information regarding MultiZone since last time but I am still a little confused also remember the receiver I will be getting allows multizone Zone Audio and Video Component in the second zone but only audio in the third zone so I would imagine I would have to get another item to get Video to that zone as well. Multi Zone Questions Amplifire for each room speakers so the main Zone won't go down to 5.1 when somebody is using another zone,In The Main Zone I will try to go to a 7.1 if possible but the bed rooms will have be 5.1 Setups. These are some of the products think I need for my Multizone Audio/Video Klipsch 5 Speaker Set Amps To Keep Main Zone From Going to 5.1 How Good PQ And AQ Wise are HDMI Ethernet Setups? Any Product Recommendations in this area will be helpful I think I understand mltizone a little more than last time but am still confused a little As Always Thanks In Advance For Your Replys ![]() |
