Default Haunting Conneticut BD... DVD disc? WTF?

I just received the Haunting In Conneticut Blu-ray in the mail to discover that it only contained a DVD copy of the film and no Digital Copy.

I couldn't care less about the Digital Copy to be completely honest. I'd rather it not be in there anyways, but I am curious if anyone else has encountered this problem. I am in Canada, but am curious about all regions regarding this situation.

Is there any word from the distributor on a replacement program for this? I searched the forums but couldn't find anything pertaining to this scenario.

P.S. MODS, I know this is a duplicate thread, but when I posted in the Canada release section I figured it would appear on the main page. Apparently not. You can delete the other thread in the Canada release sub-forum.

Take some photos of both the disc and the case. I don't doubt you, but I am curious to see them.

Someone might have bought it, swapped the disc inside, shrink-wrapped it and sent it back to the seller/store.

Maybe. But it had the security sticker perfectly in tact. It was clearly from the manufacturer.

You can always try contacting the distributor of the disc. I have done this in the past and have received fixed copies of discs. My "Lone Gunmen" set cam with 2 Disc 1's and no Disc 2. Contacted the distributor and they sent me a new set free of charge.

Thats just crap if they wont let you switch. Most stores let you swap an opened movie for the same copy... so lets hope your copy was just a mess up. Worst case scenario is your paying shipping both ways. Which AGAIN shouldnt happen... Just complain enough and hopefully they will give in. Its bull crap that you cant even get the RIGHT movie. Not your fault at all.
