Gamestop reservation credit? - Blu-ray Forum

So I got a call from gamestop last night that I had unused reservation credit. I have no idea what this is so I took to the internet and found out that it happens if you don't pick up a game that you pre-ordered. This makes no sense in my situation as I have always picked up all of my pre-orders. Is there any other reason that this would happen and has it ever happen to any of you.

(please no bashing gamestop or I will ask a mod to close the thread)

Sounds to me like a simple clerical error on their part. Just tell them that no such credit should exist and get them to delete it. That would be the honest thing to do.

Thats funny I got the same call last night. I was going to call them today and ask whats up.

Ok so it turns out that there was an error in their systems and it sent out a phone call if your game does not yet have a street date. (mine was gears of war 3) The guy at the counter said that he had about 14 other people come in and ask the same question.

I found out mine was for Socom 4. Good to know they were watching out for us.
