This is a pretty entertaining film, really unexpected announcement. Definitely listen to the We Hate Movies podcast of this after you watch it, it's funny as hell.

I heard Westchester films (an indi film holdings company who works with Shout!) was the winning bidder for most of the Alchemy owned catalog, which includes titles produced or owned by Millennium, Nu Image, First Look, and Overseas Filmgroup.

If that's indeed true, then Shout! Factory/Scream, PLEASSSSSSSSSSEEEEEE consider re-releasing Ticks again!!! Paramount/Republic had US distribution rights and sub-licensed it to Olive back a few years ago, but the former's rights expired (possibly went to back to First Look/Millennium, who had international rights as well) and went OOP, thus any DVD or BD copies out there command prices higher than the TT scalpers.

I watched it on Hulu last year. For some reason, all the cursing was censored/overdubbed.
