This new release of Sound of Freedom contains new commentaries on both the feature film UHD and Blu-ray discs, while a third Blu-ray Disc houses all of the video-based extra content.

Other cast and crew discuss working with children without exposing them to the depths of the movie's themes, creating their characters and trying to embrace the darkness as actors while struggling against a hatred of the child trafficking narrative. Cast and crew discuss their roles in the film's production and the precautions taken to film without sensationalizing or exploiting anyone or anything. The SteelBook is a little different than many. Rather than a J-card, the top of the SteelBook includes the UHD banner built right in. The film's title is below it, center, and the letters are debossed. Also included is a prominent image of Tim Ballard, clutching to a child, with a fire to his left and a kidnapping in progress on his right. The words "God's children are not for sale" appear on the right beside Tim's head. The read panel feature a father and son embrace (as seen in the film) in black and white with a special features listing, tech specs, a billing block, and other information, like the barcode, on the rear. The spine is black with the film's title centered, the Angel logo at the top, and an UltraHD logo at the bottom, all in white.
Inside, there is no digital copy code. There are three discs, one on its own hub on the left and two on the right on their own staggered-stacked hubs. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a densely green wooded area with Tim and a child escaping, almost in silhouette, on the right.

I didn't even known they released this on physical.
Which is odd, because they aren't shy on marketing the theatrical for their releases...so I'm not sure if they aren't allocating budget for the marketing side for home releases or something else is going on.
I really enjoyed this movie, and the ‘politicisation’ of it was certainly intriguing. I had problems trying to buy direct (web page error) so I placed an order through Amazon.

I've known some people from there, and when they do their taxes, they either have to make sure they've paid their taxes with each online order, or they wind up having to pay the online taxes they didn't pay each year at tax time.

If one's total of online purchases and adjusted gross income is under a certain amount, California charges a very minimal tax.
A few months after this came out, I could only find the Blu-ray and nothing in 4K. Now there's a 4K version. Sigh. Not buying it a second time, but I wish this was available at the same time.

I wonder if the sales for the blu version had them do a 4K run, or if something delayed the 4K/steel production.
Received the steelbook today from Amazon. There's no cellophane or plastic wrap at all around it. A round sticker is midway down the opening side to keep it closed. It left a mark on the backside -- not residue, more like it left the area a different sheen. A new UPC sticker is placed directly on the steel in the back corner (leaves residue which I think will come off with goo gone). Both blu discs had finger type smudges on it; 4K was clean.
Just a little description for those who care about those things.

Yep same here. If you use goo gone it will remove even more of the matte finish. So the sticker removed some of the matte finish. It's not the sticker. So if your prepared to do that, you might as well use it on the whole steel book to remove all the matte finish. Even then you can see light scratches when putting it up to the light if you do that.
This is very disappointing.
For some reason the 4k is listed as a frequently returned item on Amazon. Maybe it has to do with it not being wrapped with just stickers that mess up the Steelbook?

received my copy thru Amazon...unsealed with a sticker on back says it's new...with a couple of dings and many scratches. Returning this "NEW" steelbook.
