Yes, it was very bad. I don't like either of them, but my wife loved the first one and we were both very disappointed.

Zombie is a hack and needs to disappear from Hollywood.

H2 made the first one look good. That's how bad it was.

If you don't mind me asking, and without giving nothing away, what makes it so bad?1st one got hammered with bad reviews and I actually enjoyed it very much!

The first one was split down the middle, really. It depended on how you looked at it. That means if you went in expecting classic Halloween, you'd probably hate it. If you went in expecting something different but still within the confines of the Halloween universe, you thought it was okay or liked it a lot. I didn't really go in with expectations, I never saw the original Halloween (only the newer H20) and didn't really know that much about Myers except that he couldn't die no matter the damage inflicted upon his body (like Jason). First off, I didn't like how Zombie treated the killer in the beginning. We see him talking, we see him playing, we see him kill for the first time, we see him crying, we see him having a hissy fit. This is all well and good and kind of interesting, but it diminishes the monster that we've come to know in Michael Myers. He's no longer the personification of pure evil, he's a disgruntled redneck that didn't have a good childhood. And he likes rock music. Meh, just my opinion.

The sequel is just pure bad with the exception of the visuals, which Zombie has a talent for. It was just stupid. Nobody in the movie was likeable. Every character was "Zombie-fied". Apparently, having only Myers' family be rednecks wasn't enough for ol' Rob because he now has every character acting like they've come straight out of the inbred hillbilly South. And they also like rock music, hence the Hot Topic costume design. The kills were lame. Michael himself was lame. Too many plot holes (it took Myers a day to get to Laurie in the first, takes him a whole year in this one). Zombie assumed more blood = better movie, because the gore is emphasized more than anything. Ol' Rob planned on shocking the viewer with the inside view of someone's skull so that they could be temporarily blinded to how bad the scene actually was. There actually was no story or plot or any kind of logical sequence of events whatsoever. It was Michael killing random people and Laurie having bad dreams for two hours. Then the horrid ending with ghost Michael and ghost mom... Just see it for yourself.

As a fan of RZ first Halloween, I didnt like H2. The story line about his dead mom's ghost and who was dreaming what was too much. Had they left that idea out of the plot I think it would have been a much better movie.

I look forward to more Zombie movies as I don't see him as a hack as someone else put it, The Devils Rejects IMO was brilliant.
