I wondered about that too. I see the DVD for that one was released by Fox, while Last Hurrah was from Dragon Dynasty/The Weinstein Company. Both are Fortune Star titles though, so you'd think they could license both. Perhaps another label got that one? Maybe it'll be in Shout's next Jackie Chan collection for instance.

Most of the multiple film releases that Criterion puts out are films that are typically more related to one another. If not for Eureka pairing them, few would expect the two films to be grouped together.. If they were attempting a John Woo collection, then it would make sense to see it included, but then people would of course expect a lot more films in such a collection (I can hear the cries for Hard Boiled, and The Killer already). I do wonder if Fox still has any rights to Hand of Death in the US as well.
