Missing Countries - Blu-ray Forum

Sorry if I'm barking up the wrong tree, but is there a chance we'll see other countries, such as Russia (in Region C), or the Netherlands/Benelux (in Region B), added to the database of released titles? I'm particularly interested in seeing Russian titles, as a couple of Russian companies are starting to release all-region Russian-market titles (such as Admiral and Alexander).

I also note that we haven't included any South or Central American countries among the "flags" available on the site. Is there a method to the madness, or is this simply a case of not wanting to bite off more than the site managers can chew?

There is a method to the madness, but there are so many factors it's a bit stochastic

Basically English speaking countries are given priority, then things such as country size/population, BD penetration, number of studios in the country, buying power etc. It can also be things like we have deals with some studios in some countries.... it's complicated

But our goal is to add up as many countries as we can and maintain as complete BD database as possible... so it's a somewhat big project
