PS3 gamers: please recommend some PS3 games for me!

Hi all. I've never really been a console gamer.

I've owned a PS3 very briefly when they became readily available (January).

I was considering it only for Blu-ray playback and compared it to the Samsung, Panasonic, Sony BDP-S1, etc.

I ended up keeping the Sony BDP-S1 since it had the very best BD PQ and SQ. I sold the PS3 the on eBay. I only had 1 game (R:FOM) which I played briefly.

During the comparison tests, I was very impressed with the PS3 because of its build quality, computing power and programmability. I've been following the news of its firmware updates and such lately. It looks like this little machine is truly blossoming into a top-of-the-line do-it-all system (media hub, web browser, gaming platform).

Now it almost warrants owning it just because of its capabilities *besides Blu-ray playback*. With the possible $100 price drop, firmware updates, 5 free movies deal, etc. I'm ready to buy one.

All of my gaming in the past has been PC-based. These are the games that I've had experience with:
