Anyone know when the new ATI 5000 series cards will be out? - Blu-ray Forum

Or any specs on them? I'm anxiously awaiting their release, but want to know more about what to expect.

end of the month seems to be the time frame. Looks to be def. faster then the GTX285 and somewhere in the ballpark of the GTX295

They are supposed to hit asia next week and be gradually available in Oct/Nov around the world..

The 5870 is out now, and it bitstreams the lossless codecs.
