Headsets audio question

Hey guys you guys are always a big help.I'm in the market to buy some new headsets and have two important questions

1.Do wireless headsets downgrade audio quality,I mean will a wired headset sound better then a wireless?

2.What will sound better a headset with 4 drivers in each cup or a headset with 1 speaker in each cup Emulating 5.1 surround sound?

reason I asked the second question is because from info I have been told 4 smaller speakers would sound worse then 1 big one.
