Default Vizio VX37L Signal Switch Issue?

Hi all,

I tried to do a search and was unsuccessful. I have a Playstation 3. We had an older model I assume cause our controller was Grey. We exchanged it for another VX37L and the controller is black now.

Problem is when you insert a game for the Playstation 3, the HDMI switches from whatever resolution may it be 1080i to 720p. And it does a signal switch since I see the screen go blue and it briefly says

"no signal"

Then usually it switched to the game and new resolution but in this case is just stays at

"no signal" and a big blue screen

Then it never gets to the game UNLESS I hit the HDMI button on remote go to HDMI 1 and switch back to HDMI 2 then it comes back to the game...

Any ideas?

If the TV is new and still under warranty, I would contact Vizio, and see if it is a known issue. Perhaps they will swap it out with a new TV, or have some type of firmware upgrade that could fix the issue.

Default Region control in the 1200?

Does anyone know if the model of the BD1200 here in the USA comes with DVD region control? Having just moved back from Europe I want to ensure that it is multi-region and/or has an unlock to view DVDs (upconverted) besides my new Bluray discs.

Thanks!
