Which of these is your favorite? Both of these 80s movies feature teens doing battle with nefarious local vampires and both have a cult following

The Lost Boys for the win.

The soundtrack to The Lost Boys is still one of my all-time favorite movie soundtracks. The movie just hit at the right time for me, as I was a sophomore in high school when I saw it at the theater in late 1987. I had been blasting my battered cassette tape of that soundtrack for a few weeks before that, though.

definitely Fright Night, loved Lost Boys as a kid but it did not age well. love Fright Night.

Fright Night feels more dated than Lost Boys, although Lost Boys has way more 80's campiness to it.
