Netflix on non-NF players

I see some BD players have easy streaming Netflix as a feature. If I got a BD player without this but with internet capability such a PS3, can you surf to netflix.com and load a movie that way? Is there any work around besides hooking your laptop up to the HDTV?

You can get Netflix to stream through the PS3 by getting the PlayOn software here. If you enter the code PAX1999, the PlayOn license cost is reduced to $19.99.
