Thumbs up

Depending on where you live you may want tires that are good for driving in water. Also try not to buy used tires, you want them to last. Finally, get insurance on your tires so if they blow you get a free replacement.

I've never heard of getting insurance on your tires. I'd assume it's pretty cheap but I've never had a tire problem in my 11 years of driving.

Whatever you do, DON'T BUY ENDURO.

A nice set of Falkens will be fine. You don't need to buy nice tires like Kuhmo's or anything.

LOL...Kuhmo isn't a "nice" tire...it's a bargain/low price tire.

I would try not to pay for tires at a dealership. Although I love my Acura service dept, I'm not going to buy from them. There's plenty of sites to research tires on. Some people say get the Life Time Road hazard (insurance) with them, but honestly I'd get pay of Life Time Balance and Tire Rotation.

Some companies like Discount Tires already offer Life Time Balance and Tire Rotation when you buy all 4 tires.

Also to add about road hazard protection... the only problem I experience is getting a nail every once in awhile. It takes $10-$20 to get that repaired. So think about what the insurance covers because I had insurance on my Good Year Eagle 1 GS3 on my 05 TL and I never used it.

Where do you live? Just wondering what your winters are like. That type of HP tire won't be much use to you if you get more than an inch or 3 of snow at one-time.

The Kumho XS get very good reviews. Great grip and performance but might not match up to the turning ability of say a Dunlop. Grip wise the tire can hang with the best of them but sidewalls tend to be an issue with some.

BTW, if you're happy with the current tires you have now, go ahead and search around for the same tire for better prices. There's nothing wrong with getting the same tires you have now for a good price if you're on a budget.

I had a set of ASX on my Mazda3s and outside of being flat spotted every damn morning and the sidewall rolling over at light to moderate cornering, they were great. I mean, they looked good sitting in the parking lot atleast.

I'd go with Yokohama's...they make some nice rubber. Try Tires.com..free shipping and decent prices on wheels and tires.

Yokos and Faulkens IME have a lot of road noise, but they handle VERY WELL. THat's the thing tires you have to sacrafice on of the other.
