Default CBS Fall Season (tv discussion)

so w/survivor starting on Thursday night, who else is pumped for the fall tv season and all of the new episodes coming our way???

personally i'm looking forward to the return of: How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, CSI: Las Vegas, and Survivor w/Rules of Engagement coming back as a mid-season addition.

Mother and Big Bang are 2 of my fav. shows on tv right now.

Can't say I watch a lot of prime time television but last season I was hooked on The Big Bang Theory and Garry Unmarried... I'll give NCIS: Los Angeles a shot but can't see it being as good as the first series...

i don't watch NCIS but i'm curious how it's gonna work to have NCIS followed by NCIS: Los Angeles???

to me that would seem a little repetetive 2 hours in a row.

The only thing I watch on CBS (other than football) is their Monday night comedies. I also occasionally would watch Gary Unmarried last year because there is nothing else on Wednesday nights but that show isn't great. Not really looking forward to the new show with Jenna Elfman, which looks like a bit of a rip-off of Knocked Up. I've never been a fan of Elfman but I'll give this show a shot because there's nothing else I'd watch in that time slot.

HIMYM is my favorite show on TV right now, Also excited for Dexter, The Office, House. I used to have so many shows. Scrubs and The Unit are gone. Maybe I finally get around to watching the first season of Mad Men.

I can honestly say I do not watch anything on CSI channel, I mean CBS, cept football of course. I do not like their comedies and everything else is CSI or a CSI ripoff and I got tired of that after about 4 seasons.

Besides football, I only watch HIMYM and Big Bang Theory. (I cannot stand Rules of Engagement. Kate Hudson's brother and his fiance on the show are miserable actors.)

Bummed that the two shows moved around in the schedule; I liked the old way.

But I DVR them, so it shouldn't bother me.

Scrubs isn't gone, it's just going to be really different. Most of the actors are gone and it's going to mainly be about Dr. Cox and Turk teaching. They're the only 2 main actors that will be back for most of the episodes.

Regardless though, this is a CBS discussion. I wasn't a huge fan of HIMYM last year, but I don't think it was really the show's fault as much as having both female leads pregnant.

Yeah it was REALLY bad. I'm even passing on the BD.

I tend to agree with you about the chicks, but I think the writing was pretty bad, too, after episode 5 or so.

Scrubs will not be scrubs imo so I may try it but I wish they would just end it. I do understand why theyre letting it keep going though. With this economy they can give jobs to quite a few people and such.
