Default Audio format matter for sound bar?
Somewhat of a noob question, but does audio format (dolby, DTS, PCM) matter for a 2.1 Sound Bar through optical?

My disc player is sending uncompressed audio to my TV. My TV can't decode DTS but my sound bar can. So should I be changing the output it sends to the soundbar to PCM or keep it at Dolby. Or, because it's only 2.1, does it really not matter anyway?
