Default Looking to buy a home theather system, any advice greatly appreciated

The one i have now is 3 years old and only 2 speakers and the sub work so its time to upgrade, best buy has the sony bravia on sale was thinking about getting this one

is this an ok deal or is there something better i can get for my money budget is $500, the dvd player isnt gonna be used at all unless only to have my kids movie there so i dont have to keep getting up.
