Oppo BDP-83 question - Blu-ray Forum

I tried to watch a BD movie tonight, but the movie will not play, and the Oppo says "BDMV" in its little window. The movie I was trying to watch was "Fighting".

I am running the newest firmware and have watched a BD movie after the firmware install, so I don't think it's firmware related.

I tried another BD movie just to make sure the disc wasn't bad, but it did the same thing.

This is the first time I have had this problem. Anyone run across this?

Have you tried the firmware for the 9 Sep Public Beta Release? If that still doesn't work then you'll want to report the issue with Oppo.

Nevermind, the problem is fixed. Not sure what happened, but I powered off the unit and unplugged it for a few minutes, and then it worked fine. Guess it just needed a reboot. I am running the new Sep 9th beta firmware.
