Can this package do dts master? - Blu-ray Forum

Can someone tell me if this package will do DTS MASTER AUDIO AND DOLBY TRUE HD.It says LPCM (2ch / 5.1ch) thru HDMI so that sounds like it will but theres no mention of the HD codecs.Would the ps3 have to do the decoding then as i believe it can now after the latest 3.00 update.Would i have to set the ps3 to PCM.If i could listen to the HD codecs with this using my ps3 i think its a great price.

Yes. PCM sent from PS3 will give you the HD Audio goodness.

I dont think this can decode it though can it?

The PS3 decodes and sends it to the receiver as LPCM so this will work for you since the receiver accepts LPCM.
