I've looked at the 4000 series and I know that they can transmit 7.1 PCM downres'd to 48khz/16bit its note 4 on the specs page. However on the new 5800 it seems - don't quote me on this, that it may be able to bitstream
http://www.amd.com/us/products/deskt...fications.aspx There's the link - it would be nice to have a card that isn't tied down to a particular piece of software for bitstreaming (i.e. Xonar - TMT and X-Fi - Cyberlink). If this card can bitstream that would be great! (I'm already bitstreaming with my xonar, but.....) ![]() |
