So I have the opportunity tomorrow, to pick up a brand new Pioneer Elite SC-05 receiver for half price. What do you think I should do? Would it be a noticeable step up from where I am now. Right now I have an entry level Pioneer receiver. It uses class AB tech. for the amplifier outputs. Does the Class D of the Elite series really sound that much different?
It's a one day liquidation sale at a store around here. They do it every year. So tomorrow is my only chance at this. It goes regularly around $1900, but tomorrow it's on for $888. Hit me with the positives and negatives you can think of. |
