Default Buzzing sound from my speakers (Ground loop problem)

Ok so I just got a new tv today, hooked it all up and when I started everything up...ground loop buzz.

I've isolated the problem to my cable box. Here's my situation:

I have standard dev cable TV, I hook the coax cable straight to the TV and the stereo RCA jacks to my receiver. If I try to have my receiver on playing the audio while the TV is on, I get the ground loop buzz. Both the cable box and the receiver are plugged into the same surge protector, I also run the cable through that same unit...helps reduce the loop but the buzz is still very much there.

All the suggestions I've seen up until now have to do with removing the ground pin on the power cable. I don't want to do that and on top of that, my Onkyo 805 doesn't have a 3-pronged cable anyways.

So how do I remove the ground loop?

Thanks in advance!
