Default Really stupid question on my audio setup...

OK, while waiting on enough cash to get a decent surround sound setup, I've been using my old cd player/stereo for my audio receiver since the speakers on my hdtv's don't do it for me. I just got a good deal on an LG 47" LH30 and there seems to be no audio output for my RCA cables . Am I doing something wrong or is my new TV trying to tell me to get with the times? Thanks in advance for any help.

Looks like your only option with that tv is the optical out, which is much better than the old red white combo. You can also find a basic home audio receiver to accept the optical cable at Walmart or the like for less than $100. Just to tide you over of course.
