BD Cover art that you disliked. - Blu-ray Forum

What are some of the BD's that have been released where you didn't like the cover art.

For me The Dark Knight is probably ranked #1 for me. I thought it was just awful, the Circuit City DVD cover would have been a better choice IMO.

The US version of Unborn was another one, I imported the UK version. Fighting was another one where the UK cover was better looking that the US.

X-Men Origins Wolverine, it wasn't awful but it could have been lots better.

Not a fan of the cover for my Canadian copy of The Mist which is why I printed the US cover, so much better.

Not out yet, but the BD cover for Snow White is stupid. The DVD edition cover is a lot better, but no way in hell I'd pay 1 dollar more for a mismatched case and an improved insert. I'd sooner print my own.

None of them really bug me that much, but there are a lot that could be so much better.

BUT, one that really, really makes me wanna buy the import is The Bourne Collection. The UK version has a badass cover, whereas the US version got the silver one. Mine looks pretty lame in comparison. I should start checking around to see if anyone wants to trade, or sell me theirs lol

The Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen cover is crappy. The Wrestler's cover wasn't bad but I like the French one better.

i could go on forever about the artwork - i'm a huge fan of slipcovers and even ordering imports before the ones in the states...

first off, i hate the usa "mist" cover, i love the canadian one where him and his son are standing up in front of the store..

here are some other examples..

casino
rambo 1-3
stargate
ect.

some of the other countries def. got us beat on some artwork, but in turn some of the usa's kills theirs.

Hancock. The DVD version looks much nicer.

The BD covers don't bother me much, as long as the PQ is good I am happy. I just don't want to purchase digibooks and box set as they containt stuff that as no meaning to me, I just want to movie

I agree, my childs play and seed of chucky have the english and french writing on the cover its annoying

I don't like that season 3 of Lost has different packaging than seasons 1, 2 and 4....and most likely season 5. It doesn't line up with the rest on my shelf. I also hate the Lionsgate covers with the holographic swoosh on top and bottom.

Does not count as a cover but I can't stand digi books, steel books, big box sets! I dont care for floating heads either but I can tolerate it as long as my shelf looks uniform. I love for my DVD's and Blu's to have the nice neat look on the shelf. All that matters for me are that they are blu and have the same height.

I take the slip covers off my Blu Rays so they all line up evenly on the shelf. The only blu cover I dont like is Iron Man, which doesnt even say Iron Man on it. Its just a plain blue and white picture of the suit.

+1 Benny...the Incredible Hulk cover art makes me think it's a video game....the poster is 10x cooler and more symbolic of the movie imo.
