I like monk, im definitely a fan, but a movie? perhaps an origin story? I can't see how a longer format will fit within the formula of the series.

what I would like to see is the entire series in a glorious boxset in HD with plenty of extras AC and the likes

Dude, it's a TV movie No biggie. Plenty of series have had the cast reunite for a TV movie down the line.

Wow wasn't expecting this. Love Monk and can't wait to see it, hopefully with them upgrading the show on bluray they'll consider putting this out on DVD/BD! Can't believe how many people they got back, makes the wait exciting! (and are they doing this due to the popularity of the Psych movies maybe?)
