Default wall mount?

So I'm getting a sony set up with 4 book shelf speakers. Sony BDV-E770W. Anyways, I was wondering if the sound would be okay if I put all 4 bookshelf speakers on wall mounts?Well maybe the 2 front speakers on ceiling mounts and the back 2 on wall mounts.

I would mount the front 3 speakers at ear level. The surrounds you can mount higher if you want.

Thanks for the response. The problem I have is I got windows on 3 of the 4 walls. The 1 wall that is open, there is a door right next to it.After looking at everyone's pics on here, i'm kinda jealous at the layouts and systems. But for now I will use the HTIB.I'm just wondering if hanging from ceiling would be okay? It's a 5.1 system.Figure I would put 2 speakers above the tv and 2 behind the couch.Center channel under the tv and the box next to it.

The front speakers really don't need to be that high up. How about using stands?

I would do the opposite if possible. Use wall mounts for the fronts and ceiling for the surrounds. You want the fronts tweeters to be as close to the same height as your ears are when your seated. The surrounds can be higher as said. One feet or 2 feet above ear level, for the surrounds I find works out nicely.

If the windows are blocking you from using wall mounts for the fronts, you might want to consider speaker stands.

I've been going back and forth about it since I ordered it.But sounds like I should get stands for the front and mount in the back.Another thing is I will have 2 other tv's on each side as football season is coming up.But I guess I can always move the speaker stands.

If you end up having to move the speaker stands (if you go that route) then make sure you adjust the distance when you do. And also check the speaker levels when you move the speakers. Or depending on how far you have your fronts to start with, you might be able to put the tvs to the side.

If I'm not mistaken, the fronts should be about as far apart from each other as you sit from them. 6 feet from them, 6 feet apart from each other. So you might be able to put a tv to the left of the left front speaker and a tv right of the right front, if you have room.
