If this video was released 10 years ago it could be relevant. But EA has come a heck of a long way, the EA partners program is proof of that. I guess if you only owned a 360 you could be mad, because they tend to favor Sony.

EA are not as bad as they used to be and you can buy EA games on Steam so this video makes no sense at all. And old ladies swearing is best done by Betty White

Looks like it came in response to Crysis 2 where steam removed it for "dlc violation" ie steam got no money from dlc sales so they said get out of here. Alice was the other which is now on steam.

Not all EA games are on steam though which makes their current relationship all the more odd given EA is the distributor for PC Valve games sold at retail stores.

But in response to her, I say screw the steam and its steamworks where your forced to use the client even if you buy games retail or at another digital store.

It's just comical when steam fanatics critiscize steam for pre-order Origin exclusive versions of games when everyone does it even retail chains. Not to mention valve games are only sold on steam digitally of the aformentioned requirement of steam for a growing list of third party games.

I don't understand how that rant is a response to how EA favors Sony. All I know is that the PS3 got sweet exclusives for Dead Space 2, MOH, and soon BF3.

And if Activision has its way you will be charged to play online regardless if you buy new or used.

The only problem with 2K is not having the licenses from the NFL , NBA , FIFA and NHL but the games that came out lately are much better than the EA ones and free of bugs . It toke EA 4 months to solve a problem in FIFA 11 . Well its easy if anyone visits the ea forums on the sports franchise the complains are way too much .

My only rant with EA right now is their inane copy-protection on some game saves...I mean, Medal of Honor: Frontline?!? Honestly?

Why not? It's not like EA has to pay for double the bandwidth for a used sale. Player A who sold the game no longer uses their servers as they're without the game. It's a quick money grab, nothing else. The only thing they're stuck with reserving space for is Player A's existing profile. But that's nothing. If it was something, every forum and online store in the world would charge to use and keep a profile n'est-ce pas?

EA seems to be leading the industry in nickel and diming those that buy their products. The new NCAA 12 looks like it may take the cake. You don't get a full featured game for $60 bucks. I am only half joking when I mused that eventually you will have to pay for the ball as DLC. Many things are $2.99 that should be a part of the game. That goes with the online pass crap they started years back. But that has made them billions and I don't see it changing, just getting worse.

I stopped buying EA games simple as that since FIFA 08 i diden`t miss one game with more 500 hours per game each year , but with this last FIFA i had enough .
On the launching day of MoH the servers were down for 2 days ???? i just paid 70$ for a game and cant take full advantage of it ???
The only game that i had minor problems was Battlefield 2
