Default The Walking Dead Poll: Beyond season 3

What do you want to see?

More character development and Drama? More Zombie Action? Both? Is it a perfect blend in its current form?

I like it the way it is. The balance feels right to me.

I agree it is a perfect blend right now. If they are going to change it up, I would welcome an episode where we don't see any Walkers.

i too think it's pretty good as it is right now.

i like how we get a character driven episode 1 week and then the next there's a lot of action.

to much 1 way or the other would ruin what they've got going.

More action period, zombie or not....

The show is definitely not a perfect blend of anything in it's current state. The premise (zombie apocalypse) is it's saving grace. Take away the zombies and it's just another show that is mediocre at best.

I just want to see them stop spending whole episodes on the most boring crap. Hour long episodes devoted to one conversations should never happen. They could try to create more likeable characters instead of unlikeable ones. They somehow always manage to create multiple horribly annoying characters for every decent one. I will rant and rant, but I will still be tuned in this Sunday only to be let down again LOL.

Interesting. I agree with Chadfl about flashbacks. I think those would be really cool. I dont need any answers about the cause of the apocalypse, but it would be cool to see what some peoples lives were like before Z-Day, and how they dealt with the initial outbreak...totally unprepared.

Bingo! I'd become bored if it was just a weekly slaughterfest over and over. But I wouldnt like it either if the threat, danger and fear were not ever present.

Leave it the way it is. Love how they are mixing up scenarios from the graphic novel.

It's great for now... but we do need some more action with the walkers. I like how the character's are developing, still for a show about dealing with the zombie outbreak no real development there any more. Maybe in later seasons.

I don't really see a problem with how the current season is laid out.

I personally feel there's a lot of action, but everybody wants killing nonstop in almost every episode. You can't have that. Hell, that's not even the main thing of the show.

I don't really feel there's must character development this season, just a lot of brainstorming and thinking. The only characters I see a change in and a progression in are Rick and Andrea. Maybe Daryl because he has his brother back and maybe Glenn because he has his own internal demons when it relates to Maggie. I don't know.

I guess a little more development and a lot more suspense next season would do the job. I'll watch it regardless of what it has, though.

I think if people stop and think for a moment and then answer/vote honestly... we need more character development.

The most complaints about this show can actually be traced to poor development of characters.

People hated Shane, in part because a lot of his actions seemed random and not explained through character growth... People hate Lori, in part because the motivation for her actions were seemingly inconsistent.

Andrea gets the hate now, in large part because we don't really know why she is doing what she is doing.

What was the big complaint about Michonne? That she wasn't talking... people wanted to get to know more about her.

Most of the flaws in this show are the places where characters have not been properly developed.

I know some want more action/killing... but that gets old quickly without character development. If you look closely, you can sometimes see the same zombie extra get killed on several episodes And we have the time to look closely sometimes because of the lack of developing characters and motivations.

I, for one, welcome any re-direction to grow the characters more.

If we're talking about character development like they did in the first part of season 2 then no ****ing thank you.

I think the current blend is great. Mix in character development with zombie carnage.
