Default Could somebody help me identify this movie?

Okay, I have trying to figure out what this movie is for a long time now. So far nobody has been able to help me. I don't have alot of specifics but I will tell you what I know and maybe you can fill in the blanks. I saw it on cable television about 20 years ago. All I can really remember is that it was about a serial killer (and I think maybe even two killers). And I can remember they would always take polaroids (I can faintly remember them having a trunk full of polaroids of half naked bound women).
Anyway, thats it! Ha Ha. I know, not much to go on. But I have been dying to find out what this movie is. I'm CERTAIN it isn't on blu-ray so I'm not looking for that, but I would love to catch this again on DVD if its available. Thanks for ANY help you can provide!

First thing I thought of was this:

http://www.amazon.com/Henry-Portrait.../dp/B0009OUBC4

but it's been so long since i've seen it... that I can't remember if polaroids were involved or not...

Nope, no Polaroids in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Confessions is a lot like Henry but it does have Polaroids and is a much better movie.

I don't know much about the real story, so I don't know which movie (Henry or Confessions of a Serial Killer) was more accurate, but I thought Henry was the better movie (though it's not like either one was amazing).

You have a point there, but they are both low budget films so you can't expect much.

Haven't a clue. But really your best bet for trying to find a movie title is always the "I Need to Know" board on IMDB. I've posted the description of a scene from a movie that I could quite remember from years ago and got a response in about twenty minutes. More obscure movies may take longer but its a well frequented board so chances are someone will know what you mean. And note before going there, please don't type something vague like "help me" or "movie title" as the title. That will just hurt your chances of someone even reading it. Always have the thread title be something that deals with the movie. Maybe something like "Movie about serial killer taking polaroids?".

Sounds like 15 minutes, i saw the movie years ago but it was about 2 killers that documented their killings so they could one day be famous for it

not sure if there was a trunk full od poloroids

this *might* be it! Thanks so much- I am definately going to check it out! I watched Henry a few years ago thinking that might be it but it didn't take long to realize it wasn't the same movie. BTW, I really think Henry is much overhyped movie. I had only heard really good things about it but I thought it was quite boring.
Anyway, to get back on topic, thanks again for the suggestion. I think you may have hit the proverbial nail on the head!

well on second glance, it is NOT 'confessions of a serial killer.' Also, it DEFINATLY is NOT 15 minutes (its a MUCH older film than this).
Also, if it help narrow the search I should be clear that it DOES involve TWO killers working together. I can clearly remember them driving something like a blue chevy and throwing a girl in the trunk surrounded by a bunch of polaroids. Anyway, I REALLY appreciate all the suggestions! Keep em coming...

Robin Williams' 1-Hr. Photo is only a few yrs. back- if that's what you're thinking of...and I was also thinking Downey Jr. in "In Dreams" but that's within the last 12 yrs. or so...

I think 15 minutes (not sure if thats the movie's name) with De Niero and Burns is based on the film the OP is talking about.

Yeah guys I think maybe I wasn't clear enough in my original post. Many of you are posting titles that are far too new, and while I appreciate the suggestions I think maybe I should be more clear about what I'm looking for. I saw this movie AT LEAST 20 years ago and probably even longer ago than that. And it was definately about TWO guys, and I clearly remember polaroid pictures. I know it isn't much to go on so I appreciate all the suggestions!
