United Kingdom "Being Human: Season 1" - BBC/2 Entertain

For anyone who's a fan of this great BBC series--long story short: comedic drama with ghost, werewolf, and vampire are roommates, but not as stupid as "Friends"--there's apparently a Blu-ray release. Does anyone know if it's region-free? And are the supplements in PAL?

There is a write up on this over at High-Def Digest and apparently it's encoded at 1080i/50. So unless your setup can take 50Hz signals no can do. Also apparently the extras are in SD.

Groan. I wish I had read this thread first... I get a menu and audio on my Panasonic BD35, but no accompanying picture unless I push "STOP" -- then I get a quick flash. Bummer.
