Braveheart FutureShop Deal

I went in to my local FutureShop today to pick up Braveheart and the box had a pull-off sticker on the front that said "Save $7 on select Blu-Ray titles." I grabbed the box, because I was buying the movie anyway, also thinking that I could save $7 on whatever obscure "select titles" were listed inside. Instead, when I got to the front counter and asked about the sticker the girl pulled it off, zapped the bar code on the inside and voila! I saved $7 on Braveheart.

So anyone with a FutureShop nearby, thinking about Braveheart, I picked mine up for $22.99.

It'd be nice if I could even FIND Braveheart. I think all of the Fshops in Calgary are completely sold out

Hmm, the sticker doesn't list braveheart as one of the titles. They wouldn't let me use it. Although it was only 26.99 at my local futureshop, but I think it was stickered incorrectly because it rang up as 29.99 and they had to adjust it.

What were the titles listed? I didn't even get to read it before she swiped it and took my money.

I hope you got $10 off for the Scanning Code of Practice. I got Kill Bill Vol. 1 for $7.99 thanks to Best Buy scanning incorrectly.

Actually the Scanning Code of Practice only applies to non-ticketed items. Some people still get the $10 off if a item has a price sticker on it and it rings up incorrectly because the employees do not know the SCOP well, but you are not supposed to.

I got my Braveheart and Gladiator with the slip covers for 19.99 each because of that save $7 instantly sticker. The girl at the till tried saying that it wasn't for these titles, but i said it is misleading for them to put a sticker on the front of it stating you save $7 instantly when its not for the title its on. She didn't argue and took them off and rung them in.
On release day they were $26.99 each and i ended up paying $19.99 each
