Default "Animation Domination" dominated by macroblocking

This is just getting bad, actualy beyond bad, this is plain unacceptable. Its Sunday, My favorite shows are on tonight on fox, hd, here in Denver comcast channel 655 and I can't see anything besides garbled mess of lines and audio cutout. The macroblocking is so bad at times I cannot even tell what is on the TV.

I had my DVR record on the HD channel, I wonder if I will be able to see any of the shows in HD tonight. Guess next time I will just leave it on the regular.

Of course comcast has us basicly between a rock and hard place, they service our phone, internet and cable. Fios is not available, dish network and direct tv don't sound too good. Quest maybe for phone and internet and just pull HD out of the air and buy a HD Tivo and a subscription?

So, I thought I would vent a little bit here and ask, if anyone else experience bad macroblocking on comcast

I have the same problem with Brighthouse Cable here in my area of Alabama, but luckily my Fox HD channel works fine. Most of the cable channels are a garbled mess. You might want to try contacting your provider to see ti they can reboot the signal from their end or have someone bring you a new HD box. This usually fixes that problem for a little while. I think a lot of these Scientific Atlantic boxes the cable companies provide are refurbished and have a short lifespan.
