Help Me decide which recliner - Blu-ray Forum

As part of my add something new to my media room every two weeks,I have decided that this week were going to add sofas but I need your help me and the wife can not decide if we should get this loveseat with or with out the middle console.what do you guys think no middle console?or yes with middle console.

Sorry another thing the one with the middle console is $40.00 more and is a rocker as well.

You should definitely get it with the middle console!! Have you also looked into any of the true HT seating (not like in a commercial theater) where you buy the individual pieces and link it up however you like? You could put the pieces together in the exact same configuration as shown, but then pull it apart and add a middle seat (or two or three) down the road if you need more seating.

Well I should not have said media room,This is really the living room so Even though I would like to have the True Ht seating the wife will not hear of it since this is really considered the living room.

Gotcha. IMO I would still get it like it's shown in the picture. The only reason not to would be if you're ever gonna try to lay down across it.

I should have goten some audio equipment with the 2200.00 I dropped for this but Im waiting for a 6th ave sale.Also Im tired of sitting on that piece of crap futon.My daughter has a better seat then me.

You've got to be comfortable while watching your blu-rays. IMO this was money well spent.

Very true... not always discussed as often, but part of home theatre is the seating you have! Congrats on picking up those very comfortable looking seats!

Only thing I don't like about em is that if you're trying to put the moves on a girl you brought over, theres too much space in between seats!

Im married so she will be on 1 sofa me on the other

One thing I found in my HT viewing is I needed a place to put a drink, but I also needed a place to put the remote(s). The recliners I have, has a drink holder on both sides where I put the remote.

Your loveseat is very nice and will do you up well, but do think about where your remote(s) is/are going to go.

It depends on if you like to lay down more when watching tv, if so i would get it without the console, if you sit more the get it with, decision made.

+1...Berklines are one of the top manufacturers of HT seating. I will surely go this route when I'm ready to add some seating to mey set-up.

The Loveseat/Recliner/rockers with the middle console that the picture is of at the top of the page has my vote.

That is a Great Design,gives you a place for your beverages(so less chance of spilling anything)And just has that I am Comfortable look to it.
I would have to sit in it to see just how it feels.But my just the looks and features I would be proud to have it in my Home Theater Room.
