Any news or confirmation on a Canadian Release date? There have been alot of rumours floating around

Are warner canadian releases just like the american ones, region free??? Because I want this gremlins , since canada is getting it before uk and france.

Gremlins will be released on Oct 13/2009. Not sure if it is Region Free. It does not list any region on the back of the Blu-Ray cover.
It comes with several audio languages it seems:
English Dolby TrueHD 5.1
English Dolby Digital 5.1
English Dolby Digital 2.0
French Dolby Digital 5.1
Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1
German Dolby Digital 5.1
Italian Dolby Digital 5.1
Portuguese 1.0

Im still hoping someone can confirm its region free in the next few days, or else ill just have to wait for the uk version on october 19.

How can you tell if a disc is region free? Do they simply omit the region details from the cover? Such a newbe question, I know

It looks like it contains all the bonus features from the last DVD release, considering it's a Warner release I would assume it's the same release as the US edition. I can double check when I watch it tonight.

Thanks, and if you have a region free blu ray player, check to see if gremlins is region free, sorry im just paranoid that ill recieve the canadian blu, and it will be locked.

Darn !!!!!! Not even that future shop link shows if its region free.

Im really being risky, leaving my amazon canada order still open. What would happen in the small possibility, the title is region locked, would they accept a return???

Dammit! My Future Shop had it on the shelf today for 21.99, so of course when I went to purchase it they shot me down... Nice cover though: a shiny slipcover.

Same thing happened to me today at Best Buy but with South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
