I received a copy of the February 26th release from Amazon, and it is indeed fixed - I verified it with my own eyes.

Apologies if this is a silly question.....
I'm outside the US (Ireland), but imported the 1080i release from Amazon.com
Would I be better off trying to return my 1080i copy (unopened, my copy was in transit when the problem was noted) to Amazon to exchange for the new 1080p version, or should I try Warner direct and ask what they can do for me as an overseas customer??

I'm going to give them a call later today to put my name on the list.

I called Warner & got put on "The List". They said they didn't have them in stock but should be getting them in the next 7-10 business days & would mail it out to me when they get them in.

Default TERMINATOR 3 replacement

Late last year I called Warners about getting a replacement for the 1080i T-3 disc that was supposed to be 1080p. At that time I was told they were taking names and addresses in case replacements would indeed be sent out. Called last night to check and, sure enough, they asked for my zip code and first name and then told me the replacement 1080p disc had shipped on Monday 3/3..........

Sweet...I was wondering if I should get this or if I should just keep waiting until I forget that I don't think I need it.

Hmmm, i called early in the process, and they just took my name and number. No address. So, I guess I'll have to call back when I have a chance...

Seems poorly handled...

it was posted in another thread. If you search for terminator, you will find the thread. Also, I think there was a news article with the number on here. that's where I got it from. I called last week and they told me 7-10 days they were going to start shipping them.

Yeah! I've been waiting to hear the news of replacement since the day I found out it was only 1080i. I'm finally gonna call them.

YES! Confirmed, They have received the new 1080P encoded discs on Monday 03/03/2008 and have been shipping them out since then.

I called them up and they confirmed that they have already shipped one to me on Monday

For a replacement disc, contact WHV Customer Support at 1-800-553-6937.

The Warner site now lists T3 as the "corrected version", I ordered it yesterday (B2GO offer is in effect, see related Warner B2GO thread)

So, just to make sure, if you already called once, they've shipped the replacement out without notifying you that they've done so? It'll be a nice surprised if it comes in the mail soon!

I only called once when the problem first appeared, and I received no notification at all. When I called today, they just needed my Zip code and name to verify my disc was shipped.

Yeah I called back when the problem first arose and they took my name and address and everything. I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to call again or anything. But I might call again just to make sure...

It won't hurt to call to make sure. They were really nice about it.

I am really excited about this since I haven't even unwrapped the movie yet. I've been looking forward to watching it.

Rick
