Hi,
One of the things I liked about many of the early bluray.com summaries (and reviews) was that they documented the detail of bit-depth for the audio track(s). This has since gone missing, for some reason. Please bring it back, as a 24-bit track is one of the deciding factors for whether I upgrade my existing DVDs and whether I should rent or purchase. Doing this retroactively would also be nice ![]() When I'm at my local retailer buying blurays, I always bring up this site on my iPhone and check out the reviews. It's very helpful! Keep up the good work, Thanks! |

Is bit-depth part of the detail information released by the studio? I have noted that disc details always include audio codec (in many cases only of interest to codec fanboys) but not bit-depth or sample frequency.
I agree that bit-depth infomation is usually of greater importance than whether it is PCM, Dolby TrueHD, or DTS HD MA. |
