i'm looking to buy some blu rays from amazon.ca and i found these:
Requiem for a Dream: 14.99
Donnie Darko: 14.99
Shaun of the Dead: 19.99
Elf: 21.49
Cast Away: 17.99
good prices for them?

Are you in Canada? Because most of those are cheaper through amazon.com, I would try adding them all to amazon.com cart and see what shipping would be. Might end up a lot cheaper.

yeah im from Canada. alright i'll see how much shipping is and then the currency exchange. or can i price match them at FutureShop?

Dont know if you have a local FYE but they do have these titles used for right around the same price if not cheaper, also Target is a good place to check, but Amazon usually has the better deals. Just look for the BOGO.

Amazon.com now automatically charges Customs Duties and Import Fees (when applicable) to Canadian orders. I stopped buying from them as a result. Also, NO FREE SHIPPING to Canada.
