Hey,

Its one day shy of the Halloween Month.

This is the official halloween thread. Discuss anything that has to do with halloween. From costumes, plans on how you and the family intends to do for Halloween, party pictures

, Candies you collected, music such as thriller playing in the background, and even Halloween movie mania if you would like to share, even halloween flicks you plan to buy.

After all the month will fly by.

As for me I am starting the day before the month by changing my avatar, and plan a Halloween Party. I am thinking a thriller theme, yet still haven't decided.

What are your plans?.

There is the entire month to discuss this.

No plans, but I got the whole week off starting the monday before it till the thursday after

b-day is the day before it.

I plan on watching 1-2 horror movies everyday in the month of October. Go to see Nightmare Before Christmas 3D. Having a small get together on Halloween.

Our family already went out to a local farm and picked our pumpkins and other stuff and decorated the house. The kids love the pumpkin patch and of course trying to pick out their costume, which doesn't happen until the very last minute each year.

I want to goto Knott's Scary Farm but no one I know wants to go. There's also a big party being held on Halloween by KCRW, the local NPR station with tons of DJ's and live bands that I might goto.

Still plenty of time to decide.

My wife wants to get The Grudge/Ju-on for the Wii and play that on Halloween.

we usually hit up a local orchard for pumpkins and take pix of the kids in the pumpkin patch & what not.

we've got a halloween party on the 24th that we're going to.

then trick or treating w/the kids, we've all already got our costumes.

Halloween is HUGE in the robinandtami household!

We go all out at work. I work in a nursing home and we have a big party with a costume contest for the residents and one for the employees. Our dept (physical therapy) has won the costume contest for the past 6 years in a row. This year our theme will be Gilligan's Island.

At home, Halloween is probably our biggest party of the year. We make a "witch's brew" which is basically an effervescent hunch punch. We get a bunch of different fruit and soak it in rum for a few days prior. The evening of, we just pour in some Hawaian Punch and drop in some dry ice. As the dry ice melts, it adds some carbonation to the brew. I don't drink at all..... but even I like the witch's brew.

I'm going to be the skipper. We have enough people to do the whole cast (all of us are women, so some of us had to do the male roles

) and we are even going to have a gorilla from that one episode.

Yep... the skipper. My girlfriend is going to be Gilligan. Her mother.... who lives in the nursing home we work at.... is going to be Ginger. We already have an evening gown and a red wig for her.

halloween is my favorite nephew's birthday. i know i really shouldn't be picking favorite nephews but he's definitely my favorite lol. he's turning 6 and i have no clue what kind of party to throw. its going to be at my house cause mine is the biggest. any ideas?

I should really finish watching X Files. I have the first six seasons and have only seen 1 & 2.

But it'd mean putting off blu-ray for a while.

banged out seasons 1-9 + the first movie in 2 months... had alot of free time lol
