Is the Optoma HD82 any Good?

I Have decided to go for this projector so far.

It is a Optoma HD82.

I have heard good things about this projector.

Just wondered if there is anything better around that price. And is it bad in 2012 compared to when it came out.

Also is themescene 82 the same as the regular 82?

You may consider the Benq W7000. It is an outstanding 3D projector and much brighter than the Optoma. Amazon U.S.A. is currently selling it for less than $2,000. Other options are Epson Home Cinema 3010 or 5010. Epson uses different numbers in Europe.
